Juzoor Brings Smiles to Children Through Recreational and Mental Health Support Activities
Juzoor for Health and Social Development organized a special recreational activity for children in Gaza under the slogan:
“Protect Play… Protect Childhood”, as part of its ongoing efforts to promote mental health and psychosocial support for children.
The activity aimed to provide a safe space where children can play freely and express themselves, especially in light of the difficult circumstances they are experiencing, contributing to enhancing their psychological and social well-being.
The event included a variety of interactive and stress-relief games that brought joy to the children, in addition to drawing, coloring, and creative expression activities, which allowed them to express their feelings and thoughts in a safe and innovative way.
The activity witnessed strong engagement from children, who participated enthusiastically in all segments, in an atmosphere filled with joy and inclusion highlighting the importance of play as a fundamental right of every child and an effective means of promoting mental health and supporting healthy development.
The activities also contributed to creating a positive and supportive environment, giving children the opportunity for emotional release and peer interaction, which enhanced their sense of safety and belonging and helped bring smiles to their faces.
Juzoor reaffirmed its commitment to continuing the implementation of child-focused programs and activities, emphasizing the importance of providing safe spaces for play, recreation, and emotional expression. These efforts aim to strengthen children’s resilience, protect their mental and social well-being, and ensure their right to play and grow in a safe and supportive environment.
